Two users have reported getting kicked out of the CDR multiple times this morning and losing their work. Any idea what could be going on?
Adding William. William, has anyone reported problems at CIAT this morning?
Can you tell me more about what "kicked out" means? Volker, do you know anything about this?
I have not heard anything regarding CDR or network problems. There was a problem this morning connecting to Percussion but that was on STAGE.

For me, it was a login problem today. It took me 3 tries to get in the CDR. Earlier this week (or last), I would be in a summary, making changes, when the summary would close, but I can’t remember the error message.

I think I had the same issue Robin had last week and the CDR would close and a an error message said something like x-metal has stopped working…can’t remember the rest. If happens again I will get the full message.
Is this on production? QA? When you say "the summary would close" do you mean that the child window for the summary document closed itself, but XMetaL was still running?
This is on production. I believe they mean that XMetaL shut down entirely, but I will confirm.

No one has reported an issue this morning but I just emailed everyone to see if they are having any problems.
Robin just confirmed that by the summary closing she meant the XMetaL program shut down entirely.
We agreed in the Thursday status meeting that we will wait to see if the problems persist after we've upgraded to XMetaL 9.

That was back in April, and this is August, so I think we can close this ticket, and open a new one if the problem comes back.
