Description

Diana reported that she is unable to get publish preview to run this morning. Please see the details in her e-mail pasted below.

Robin,

It’s not working for 2 or 3 of the Drug Info summaries I tried, nor a PDQ Patient summary. Examples:

CDR0000658573--Recombinant Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Bivalent Vaccine

CDR0000062963--Ovarian Epithelial, Fallopian Tube, and Primary Peritoneal Cancer Treatment

Here’s the error message I get:

A problem occurred in a Python script.
D:\cdr\Log\tmpzlpo_o.html contains the description of this error.

I tried logging out of the Bastion host AND restarting my computer…

Thanks,
Diana

This appears to be a Percussion error. I'm going to submit a ticket.

It appears that some DIS are failing but others are not. For instance, I was able to run PP for BEP, VeIP, and Palbociclib.

The issue OCEPROJECT-2514 has been filed with WCMS.

Volker needs a couple of story points to track this problem with WCMS, but not much we can do on our end.

Check if NVCG fixed this issue

NVCG did not fix this problem but at the moment all of the DIS appear to be working. Blair is working on a fix that makes the process reliable.

Just to clarify, will this fix be in Curie or is this a WCMS fix that will come in Feline? I think it's the latter, but just want to be sure. Thanks.

This will be in WCMS's Feline release.

We (the CDR dev team and users) had been under the impression that this was going to be fixed in the Feline release. Can we get this back into the queue?

: Any thoughts about whether this can be resurrected?

Unfortunately the "permanent" fix for this issue (OCEPROJECT-589) was bumped out of the Feline Release. However, there is a way to repair the issue when it arises (reindexing search for a content type). Let Blair or Aarti know whenever you encounter this issue. Volker should also know how to do it. There is a collaborate page on the steps: https://collaborate.nci.nih.gov/display/OCECTBWIKI/Reindexing+Search+for+a+content+type

Since there is nothing to do for us related to this ticket other than waiting for the permanent fix to be implemented in WCMS I'm wondering if we should close this ticket.

I don't know when it happened, and I guess I must've thought it had been intentionally fixed. But pubpreview seems to be working just fine for drug info summaries and patient summaries.

This happens on occasion when a Percussion database index gets confused. It's uncommon on PROD and more likely to happen on the lower tiers after a database refresh. However, as an earlier comment mentions, Volker knows what to do to fix the immediate problem until a permanent fix is in place.
