Please modify the Media VOL (Visual Online) Report to include all media docs (images)that are publishable but have not been linked to by any other documents.

Hi Margaret,
I’ve double-checked the Media report that’s created as part of the publishing run for Kim Reyes. The report does indeed only pick up image documents that were part of a publishing run for the previous week.
Could you enter a JIRA ticket and specify how this report should be modified? Should the documents that are made publishable but aren’t pushed to Cancer.gov be marked specifically; do we want to include every version of an image document that’s made publishable or only the very first version; etc.

I'm guessing we will also need a report that lists all of the media documents that weren't included so far?
Should the weekly report indicate if a media document is linked to a document (and pushed to Cancer.gov) or not?
1. From what I understand there is only one media doc that is publishable and not linked to any other document. But I think it will be good to know if there are others that we are not aware of.
2. I think it will be good to have that indication because there is currently no report that identifies such media docs (besides running a linked doc report).
Could you include Amy and me on the the report?
If you want this to become a regular report or one to be put on the menu system rather than an ad-hoc report I'd suggest to add another ticket for that.
I've updated the report to include all image documents for which a publishable version had been created. This approach is a lot simpler than the one chosen previously and it's not necessary to create a link to the report anymore. Instead I'm including the report in the email message.
In order to test this, William, please prepare a few documents and then I will run the report to create the email on DEV.

I guess this would be a question for Margaret: Do we want to run both reports as part of the weekly publishing or is it OK to replace this one with the existing report?
I'm guessing Margaret would like to see the output (which now comes in an email) before making a decision. I'll send one shortly.
I've ran the report on DEV and sent it to you, Margaret, and William for the time frame of April 1st to today.
I've send an email to Kim to double-check with her that the changes in the format of this message would be OK.
Kim is OK with the new format. All she needs are the CDR-IDs.
The following program has been versioned in subversion
R12739: Notify_VOL.py
This is now running on DEV.
I need to double-check if this made it properly to PROD as the submitted email from the weekend publishing job did not change but it should be formatted differently.
Kim reviewed this. Verified on QA.
