Please modify the publishing service so that it doesn't have to be manually restarted after a server reboot because of dependencies on other services which weren't ready when it first came up.

On the CBIIT servers (running Windows Server 2008) exists a new option for starting services. In addition to the three options of Manual, Automatic, Disabled also exists a status of 'Automatic (Delayed Start)'.
I had Robert set the publishing service start option to use this new option instead of 'Automatic' and had him restart the server. The first publishing job after the reboot started properly rather than waiting in the 'Ready' state.
I notified Robert and he updated the server setup documentation accordingly.
This problem doesn't exist anymore in the CBIIT environment. The publishing jobs are running even after a server reboot.
