I reported the problem to Dominic last Thursday. Still hadn't heard from him so I sent him another message this morning.

I have been corresponding with Dominic, who did respond to my second message. He claims that the socket is being timed out on our end. I have been working assiduously at convincing him that this is not the case, and persuading him to increase the timeout value on his web server.

Hi Bob,
Yes, you are right. It timeout needs to be reset at our end. I've asked
our sys-admin to increase the timeout of the apache server. I haven't
heard back from him yet. I'll followup with him again and will let you
know once that is done.
