We would like to add the option to display subgroup information on the Board Roster Report. When selected from the interface to run the report, the text from the "Member of Subgroup" element in the PDQ Board Member Information Document would display following each Board member's contact information.
For example:
Mark H. Greene, MD
Editor-in-Chief
Branch Chief
Clinical Genetics Branch
NCI - Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics
National Cancer Institute
National Institutes of Health
Executive Plaza South, Room 7032
MSC 7231
6120 Executive Boulevard
Rockville, MD 20852-7231
Phone 301-594-7641
Fax 301-496-1854
Email greenem@mail.nih.gov
Member of Subgroup: Genetics of Prostate Cancer
In cases where there are multiple Member Subgroup elements in the Board Member Record, the group names could be separated by a comma.
For example:
Kathleen A. Calzone, RN, MSN, APNG, FAAN
Senior Nurse Specialist (Research)
NCI - Center for Cancer Research
National Cancer Institute
National Institutes of Health
Genetics Branch
Building 8, Room 5101
8901 Wisconsin Avenue
Bethesda, MD 20889-5101
Phone 301-435-0538
Fax 301-402-4471
Email Calzonek@mail.nih.gov
Member of Subgroup: Genetics of Prostate Cancer, Psychosocial/Behavioral
Issues

A couple of questions:
a) Do we want this changed for both roster reports or just for the
roster by board report?
b) Would you like to display the label regardless of the existence of
the
element or only if it's populated?

Please add the option for the roster by Board report only (I don't think it's needed in the combined report). Thanks.

No. Please only show the label if the element is populated (and the option to show subgroup information was selected).

The following programs have been modified:
CDR000125 - PDQBoardMember Roster
BoardRoster.py
I have modified the user interface a little to use mostly CSS for the formatting and made it a little more user friendly. Please let me know if you notice anything that I may have broken in the process.
This is ready for review on MAHLER.

This looks good.
However, I would prefer the "Send Packets By" information NOT to show when the report is run without selecting "show all contact information". This is already the case on Bach, but I just wanted to be sure this would change when this revision was brought over.

The code is adding the 'Send packets by' information whenever one of the options available is selected but not when the default report is run. That's how it works on BACH.
Since this was a new option that we added I've modified the report to follow this rule. However, if you'd rather want to consider this option as part of the default I'll change it but then we should probably think about how to indicate which of the options does trigger the additional information (or we add an option for the packets line, too).

Hmm, okay. I think this should be revised. The 'Send packets by' information does not need to be displayed when any option is chosen, especially not when subgroup information is displayed, but I don't want to make the subgroup information part of the default report. Could we include the 'Send packets by' line when the 'Show all contact information' option is selected only? So, we would keep the same three options: Show all contact information, Show subgroup information, and show assistant information and a user could select more than one if they wish.
