Please go through the documentation folder on Mahler and determine which files are no longer relevant. Move them to an Archive subfolder.

I've created the 'Archive' subfolder and moved all directories to
this folder that aren't relevant anymore.
I will go through individual documents next to move those to the archive
directory.

I've moved all documents in subversion that I considered outdated and
not anymore useful to the
Documentation\Archive
directory.
Then I've merged the documents located on MAHLER in the
\cdr\Documentation
directory that were not included in subversion with those in subversion.
I removed the old Documentation directory and replaced it with the copy
from subversion.

I just noticed that the incremental backup of the Subversion repository was almost as large as the full monthly backup. I hope this is mostly a result of things that got moved, rather than things that got added. I guess we'll find out when we do our next full backup.

As I said, I've merged what was under \cdr\Documentation on MAHLER with the content that was under subversion. The data that wasn't under SVN before was at a minimum 150MB.

Looks like trunk has jumped from 214MB to 458MB, and the compressed repository backup file is now 117MB (was 67MB at the beginning of the month).

Counting comments in our code as part of our documentation, our text:code ratio is probably 3:1 or better. Dis-counting old version information from the byte count (the number of versions of our pure documents are probably much less than for our code), and we're probably at 4:1 or even 5:1.
Most project suffer from a lack of documentation. I guess we've surmounted that problem!

Moving outdated documents and directories in the merged Documentation
directory is complete. However, SVN seems to fail to commit a few of the
moved documents.
I need to look into these errors a bit more.

Those subversion errors reported last time were only temporary.
If anybody feels that additional documents should be moved to the archive directory please let me know. Otherwise I consider this task completed.
