Description
  1. Summary topic pick list is not limited by board when a board is selected.

  2. Import Date Range: a date range of 10/15/22 to 11/14/22 seems to be a default setting on this page. The date range should be blank as a default.

  3. Once a list of import jobs is created by the report and the user selects to view an individual import job, the user has no way to return to the list of import jobs they originally generated by the report without using the back button or clicking submit again.

As the title says, this ticket contains more than one request. For future tickets, let's follow our standard practice of tracking each issue with its own ticket.

The topic list now tracks the selected board dynamically. This is a change from the current system.

The import date range fields have been modified to default to no dates.

A button has been added to the Import Report page for an individual import job to return to the list of jobs.

Verified, looks good!

Verified - default dates are now gone.

But after selections are made and the report is submitted, the other selections (for example, board and sumtop) remain visible in the collapsed menus whereas the date range gets reset.

Looks good on ebms4 as well.

But as I mentioned earlier in this ticket after item #2 was fixed:

"after selections are made and the report is submitted, the other selections (for example, board and sumtop) remain visible in the accordion menus whereas the date range gets reset."

This is still happening and is causing some issues with the display options especially the ALL option. If a user does a search for a date range only and clicks submit and then decides to select the display ALL option because the date range automatically resets the user is unknowingly searching all the import reports in the database and results in an error. And if the user has included additional criteria in addition to the date range, after selecting a new display, a new search is being done without the date range because it was automatically reset and the other criteria remained.

See why we like to track each request in a separate ticket? 🙂

So you want the default for the Import Date Range to be unspecified only when you first bring up the page, but for the default on subsequent requests to be the range specified for the report just requested, right?

Yes and then if the user clicks reset the import date range would go back to unspecified again. But your use of the word default is making me nervous...

So just to clarify the user experience that I'm trying to achieve - when a user first arrives on the import report page, they should see an empty form. Then as they make selections and submit their request, their selections (board, topic, review cycle, date range and display options) should all be retained in the form so that they can see them and make revisions and resubmit. If they click reset, the form should go back to being empty.
