TIR #2460 entered 2013-03-08 by Robin Juthe (Future Release status)
Several pages should have a cancel button to back out any changes you made on the page that you don't want to be submitted. If there's another way to easily cancel your changes, we may be able to put this off for right now.
Create event (same as edit event)
Edit document
Edit packet
Deckelman, Laura (NIH/NCI) [C]No presence information (3/11/2013 5:24 PM): Moving this to Future Release. We can prioritize this item for hypercare.
Kline, Bob (NIH/NCI) [C]No presence information (3/11/2013 3:32 PM):
Laura: You had asked that we move TIRs out of the 'review' state into
the 'new' state. I'm assigning this to you, in light of earlier
discussions we've had on this request.
Juthe, Robin (NIH/NCI) [E]No presence information (3/11/2013 9:59 AM):
Thanks, Dan. Am I correct to assume that any changes to the edit
document and edit packet pages won't be made in the system unless the
"save" button is hit? In that case, we should be able to navigate away
from these pages, too, by going to the "literature" heading or the home
page.
Young, Dan (NIH/NCI) [C]No presence information (3/8/2013 12:49 PM): To
comment on canceling changes for creating/editing events, the simplest
way is to leave the create/edit page by clicking on the 'Calendar'
top-level navigation. I believe 'back' is safe to use in this situation,
but am hesitant to recommend it given the issues it causes with other
areas of the site. So, returning to the calendar via the top nav and
then navigating back to the day/event in question is an available
workaround, if requiring extra clicks to complete.
Juthe, Robin (NIH/NCI) [E]No presence information (3/8/2013 11:18
AM):
We decided the workaround to leave the page is adequate. Won't fix.
