The script ~drupal/cron/update-pubmed-data.py appears to work correctly when run directly from the command line under the drupal account, but fails at the end when sending the notification to the developers that the job has completed when run under the cron daemon. Not a pressing problem, since the script has already taken care of its primary task (refreshing changed XML from Pubmed) before the failure occurs. But it would be nice to have the notification mechanism working correctly eventually.
Script needed the full path to the drush program.
Also needed to considerably reduce the batch size.
The script is working correctly on the lower tiers.
