We would like the system to automatically remove citations that receive an Editorial Board Decision from any active (unarchived) literature review packets for that topic. As is happening currently, citations that have been removed from the packet should still remain on the Board manager Reviewed Packets page.
I assume you don't really mean the articles should be removed from the packet (otherwise they couldn't show up on the board manager's reviewed packets page, because there wouldn't be any packets to display them in). I'm guessing you are referring to suppression of the display within a packet on some of the pages in the system. According to the ticket's name, the prefix "Full Citation" seems to imply that we would avoid showing the users' decisions for the article on the "full citation" page. Is that what we're supposed to do?
Our goal with this issue was to remove the article from the packets of any Board members who hadn't reviewed it yet. We don't want anyone reviewing and submitting decisions for articles that have already gone through the process and received a final disposition.
I'm not sure i exactly answered your question, but does that help?
Yes, that does help. But what does the "Full Citation" tag in the issue title mean, then?
Talked to Victoria. Board managers are going to re-think the requirements for this one.
Can you remind me when you're meeting to discuss this one? Thanks.
Hi Bob,
We met today to discuss this issue -
We've decided we'd like to keep the articles in the packet but remove the 'REVIEW' button beside the articles that have received an Ed Board Decision, thus preventing Board members from completing another review of the paper. In place of the 'REVIEW' button on their packet page, please add the text 'Board reviewed' (italicized).
Thanks!
OK, so the change is supposed to happen on the board member's packet review page, right? (And "Full Citation" in the title for this ticket refers to something other than the page on which the change is supposed to be made?)
Implemented on DEV.
Could you please change the wording to "Reviewed by Editorial Board"? We decided this would be a little clearer than "Board reviewed" (Editorial, not Advisory, for example). Thanks.
Extra modification implemented on DEV.
