Based on the presentation in yesterday's all-hands, I'm under the impression that we should be updating the NCI logo in the EBMS (top and bottom banners). Not sure if this is release dependent, but I'm putting here for us to discuss. Thanks.

I submitted a request to the Creative Team to give us a mockup of what they recommend for updating the header. OCECREATIV-2238
~JutheR, Attached is the mockup for the recommended application of the new NCI logo for EBMS. Let us know if you are okay with it.
~BKline/~Alan, if approved, go see OCECREATIV-2238 for additional specs (e.g. what specific teal is being used in the mockup).
~henryec, do we have any flexibility on the banner? It looks kind of large and bright considering this will be on every page of the system. It looks like JIRA has been updated to use a new NCI banner. Could we consider something like that (blue & skinnier)? If we don't have any flexibility, we can live with this one as it is. Thanks.
Hi Robin, The height is actually part of the standard (I think we had to compromise with the JIRA banner due to some limitation). I'm attaching (v2) a new mockup with a different blue this is still within the color standards. Is this better?
Yes, we like this one much better. A little calmer color and the text seems easier to read on the blue than the teal. Thanks, Erika!

~JutheR: I have to say, with the new and old banners side by side I find the old one kind of too skinny-looking by comparison, and you may not feel like we need to look for ways to make things smaller as the new look becomes more familiar. Just my take on it, and you know how far I am from being a visual design person, so take it with a large pinch of salt. :-)
New banner installed on DEV.
Is the footer background also supposed to change to blue (as on cancer.gov)?
Guidance from the Creative Team is that the footer background can remain the color as it is today. But if the EMBS Team wanted to change the color, the recommendation is dark blue (#123e58).
I think the footer is fine as is. Thanks.
