According to the EVS staff:
EVS Announces Replacement Browser Now Available:
In January of 2025 EVS Explore will replace EVS legacy browsers NCI Term Browser (https://nciterms.nci.nih.gov/),
NCIt Browser (https://ncit.nci.nih.gov/), NCI Metathesaurus Browser (https://ncim.nci.nih.gov/)
We encourage EVS users to begin using the EVS Explore browser https://evsexplore.semantics.cancer.gov/evsexplore/welcome
Questions and feedback about the Explore browser should be sent to ncithesaurus@mail.nih.gov
Replaced EVS browser link in Term vendor filter.
https://github.com/NCIOCPL/riemann/commit/020ca5d5
and for the advanced term search page:
CIAT/OCC > Search > Term
Click the Search NCI Thesaurus button
Verify that the EVS Explore landing page appears in a new browser tab
Click the Filter link in the CDR Admin footer
Enter 43234 in the Doc ID field at the top of the CDR Document Filter form
Enter set:Vendor Term Set in the Filter(s) field
Leave the remaining fields at their defaults and click Submit Filter Request
Near the bottom of the XML document which appears find the
ExternalRef
element whose xref
attribute value
begins https://evsexplorer/... and
whose text content is "NCI Thesaurus"
Open the URL from that xref
attribute in new browser
tab
