As a CDR summary editor when I run the Update SummaryRef Titles, I want to be able to see a list of summaries that are going to change so that I can review them before applying the changes
Acceptance Criteria
Scenario: The ** Update SummaryRef Titles tool is able to display a list of summaries before applying changes
Given I am a CDR summary editor
And I have permission to create or edit summaries
When I edit a summary that has links coming from other summaries
And I want to apply the changes to the linked summaries
And I run the Update SummaryRef Titles tool
Then I want to be able to see a list of all linked summaries that will change with their titles, language, and audience before applying the changes
Doesn't this tool change the linking summaries (not the linked summary)?
Implemented and installed on CDR DEV.
Verified on DEV. Thanks!
When the list of summaries are displayed, the report appears to repeat the CDR ID of the summary the user is working in and not the summaries that are going to be changes.
Repro steps:
Check Out CDR0000062906 on QA
Locate a SummaryRef element in the summary
Right-Click within the SummaryRef element
Choose Update SummaryRef Titles from the Context Menu
You should see a page similar to the screenshot below.
Well, the ticket was confused about whether the table should show the linked document or the linking documents, and the question I asked about that back in October was never answered, so I guess the software was confused, too. 😛
I must have missed your question. Sorry about that. I can update the acceptance criteria to reflect that the linking documents are what needs to display (as stated in the user story). If the changes can't make it into Pauling, it is OK. I can create a new ticket for Quinn.
The link to GitHub was for the commit which fixed the problem.
Verified on QA.
Verified on PROD. Thanks!
