We are not able to upload the board meeting audio recording files into media documents in the CDR on PROD. The average file size is about 21MB. The problem appears to have started yesterday. Up to this morning, the attached error message is displayed when you attempt to upload a file. It seems this is happening to only relatively bigger files as I was able to successfully upload a file of about 5MB as a test.
I have attached a sample file that failed to upload. The problem started happening around 5:15 PM on Tuesday 3/20. We tried several times within the next two hours after that. I also got the same error message right before creating this ticket about 1:40 PM yesterday.
Does it also fail on the lower tiers?
Yes, at least it fails on QA.
The problem appears to have started yesterday?
Can you confirm when the last successful posting of a large file took place?
Please provide exact instructions for the steps needed to reproduce the failure. I successfully posted the file you attached to the ticket on DEV and QA. Note that I will be offline a good part of today (at the doctor's).

I am still getting the same error message this morning: Here are the steps:
1. Retrieve a Media Doc (In this case, CDR0000792702)
2. Click on the CDR Save icon
3. Click Browse from the Save Window
4. Browse to the location of the file
5. Double-Click on the file
6. Click OK on the Save Window.
The problem does not appear to be the steps used in adding the file. It appears that the size of the file is what is causing the problem as I am able to upload smaller files.
Do you want me to provide me with the media file you're trying to attach to 792702 (unless it's the one you already attached to this ticket) and have me try it on prod? (Make sure the document's unlocked).

So we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that it's working from my machine, so we have a way to get these posted. The bad news is that it will be more difficult to solve the problem on your end if we can't reproduce it on our end. It's possible that we've run into another situation in which restrictions are being imposed on your network which are not present elsewhere. The MP3 is attached to the document with a new version (didn't make it publishable). The document is checked in.
Didn't we say we were going to use compressed mp3 files to keep the sizes down? You might want to ask your IT support team what changes might have been applied on Tuesday.

The problem is happening while connected on the NIH VPN.. It is not happening on the ICF network, and I am using a computer that has not been on the ICF network for several weeks. Meanwhile, Minaxi is having the same problem. She actually reported the initial problem. She works from home all the time so her computer has not been updated too unless ICF has a way to push the updates even when you're not on the network.
I can't post those documents (they're half again as large as what you used for testing Gauss), so you'll have to post them from the ICF network (I'm on the VPN right now).
I have just been able to upload a file that is 17.8 MB (Today's IACT Meeting). So, the problem seems to be files that are more than 20MB.
I have fixed the problem on DEV, and have submitted a request to CBIIT to apply the fix to STAGE and PROD.
The adjustment has been made to the web server configuration on STAGE and PROD. I posted the minutes for day 1 to 792719 (creating a new non-publishable version) and I left day 2 for you to confirm that the fix works from your environment.
