The FTP log files contain 4 years of log data and the files are
getting bigger than necessary. I'd like to shrink the files to keep a
year's worth of data and archive the rest.
The files are
Jobmaster.log
SendEmail.log
On PROD these files are copied via a cronjob to the directory
/CDR/qa/log
and we have read access for these files.
The file ftp_vendors.db which is also copied can be deleted.
~volker: please assign story points for this ticket.
This ticket is another OBE. Since we moved our "FTP" processing off the FTP server with the change to the public ssh-key authentication we're not writing to these two log files anymore.
I've copied the two log files and I'm attaching a compress copy of them to this ticket.
