Subject: RE: Block-and-replace glitch

Hi Margaret,

As I mentioned to Sharon, I encountered a block-and-replace glitch in the CDR last Thursday Sept 17th.

I was in the CDR Admin function for “Replace Doc with New Doc”, blocking Bile Duct Cancer Treatment Patient draft doc #
(CDR ID 774021) to re-use original doc # (CDR ID 258011).

I received the normal message that a successful replacement had been made & the draft doc had been blocked.

When I tried to exit CDR Admin to go back into the CDR & complete the process, I got a message (below the CDR Admin banner on the screen) that said Thank you for spending quality time in the CDR. This is pretty much verbatim, the “quality time” part especially caught my eye.

I then found I was unable to get back into the CDR, screen kept showing either invalid or expired session. Rather than try to tamper with a process that was betwixt & between, I emailed Judy to see if she could wrap up the process on her end, which she proceeded to do with no issues.

Please let me know if I can provide any further details.

Thanks,
Emmy

If you click the "Log Out" button in a web admin session launched from the Admin toolbar button in XMetaL, you're closing the session you were using in XMetaL. Nothing to do but close XMetaL, reopen it, and log back into the CDR.

You might want to have the user review the help page which explains this behaviour (see attached screen shot).

We decided to close this issue in today's CDR meeting.
