A summary title that wraps onto a second line is truncated when our Word Macros are run.
Examples:
CDR62890
Genetics of Endocrine and Neuroendocrine Neoplasias
becomes
Genetics of Endocrine and Neuroendocrine
CDR62829
Ovarian Epithelial, Fallopian Tube, and Primary Peritoneal Cancer
Treatment
becomes
Ovarian Epithelial, Fallopian Tube, and Primary
This also seems to affect whether the line beneath the title is
removed.
In Robin J's macro (not sure about others), the line that reads
"Genetics - Health Professionals" is normally removed from the summary
but it is kept in the long-title example above (Gen. of
Endocrine...).
This also seems to affect whether the line beneath the title is removed.
We'll have to see if we can access the title as an entity regardless of the number of lines. The macro is likely just assuming the first line to be the title and the second line to be removed.
As expected, the macro to remove the sub-heading assumed the heading to be one line long and removed the second line. I'm changing this to remove the second paragraph (the sub-heading) instead of the second line. This way it doesn't matter if the main header or the sub-header are one or multiple lines long.
I will have to replace the macro DeleteTypeAudience() with the new macro DeleteSubHeader() for all users.
I've installed the macro change on Victoria Shields computer and we ran her personalized macro successfully.
In order to make the changes close MS Word and copy the file
:\OCPL\_Cross\CDR\WordStartup\CDR_Macros.dotm L
to the user's desktop location
:\CDR\WordStartup C
Verified on Victoria Shield's computer.
Margaret is the only user left who hasn't received the new macros. She said, however, that she does not need to have these macros installed on her machine.
If you agree, Robin, we can close this issue.
All users have macros who need them.
