Description

Some GPs have reported web site security certificate problems while attempting to access links to the GP Mailers. In most cases, they get a page warning them about a problem with the web site certificate (screenshot attached) and that also provides them with the option to continue to the web site. This usually works. However, we've had a few cases where it doesn't work and sometimes generating a new mailer solves the problem. I have attached the screenshot of an error message a GP reported after clicking on the link to continue to the mailer web site. Here is the link to the GP Mailer in question:

https://gpmailers.cancer.gov/cgi-bin/cgsd.py?id=wbqr2s4b54.

When I clicked on the link above, I got the certificate security warning message and I was able to access the mailer. But I didn't get the subsequent attached error message reported by the GP, which appears to be coming from the antivirus software.

Message from CBIIT:

Volker - A new cert is ready to be installed for GPMailer. This new cert should fix the certificate error issue. During the process of certification installation, GPmailer will go offline. Would you please find out when it is the best time to work on the cert installation? The process should take around half an hour

What time would we want to have the server to go down for this update?

Any time is fine with me. We are out of the "mailer season" and currently just sending out very few mailers that become due each month.

The new certificate has been setup and I don't see the error message anymore when accessing the provided link.

William, please double-check and close this issue if you agree that it's fixed.
