Since we just learned that the issue of multiple images showing up in some glossary terms on Cancer.gov (OCECDR-3525) is being picked up for the next Cancer.gov release, we will need to make changes on the CDR end to allow for gatekeeper to determine which image to display when.
I think we want to do this by adding an audience attribute on the media link element, but we will need to discuss the best approach.
The following filter has been updated to include the 'audience' attribute on the MediaLink element.
R12422: Module: Vendor Filter Templates (271370)
The two possible values for the attribute are
Patients
Health_professionals
If a MediaLink is shared between both, the English and the Spanish
sections, the audience attribute defaults to Patients for both
languages.
For MediaLinks within the Definition sections the value of the attribute
equal the Audience element (including a plural
s).
I updated the DTDs to include the new attribute:
R12423: pdq.dtd
R12423: pdqCG.dtd
The DTD has been updated on PROD and the filter has been replaced.
William, please go ahead and let's test this change in production, first by running PublishPreview, then by running a hot-fix before tomorrow's weekly publishing job.
As discussed at our status meeting the images are now correctly
displayed for patient and HP dictionaries (i.e. base pair). However, the
display format differs between both types.
I have submitted a request to be added to the WCMS weblog to Erika.
Closing ticket.
