There appears to be a problem with the citations import function in the CDR. On a few occasions, it has allowed duplicate records to be imported and on other occasions, the program had generated duplicate records even though users had made only one attempt at importing the records. I will attach a spreadsheet with examples.
The first problem can be caused by entering the PMID with leading whitespace. I am unable to reproduce the second problem.
I am closing this issue and will let users know to pay attention to white spaces before the PMID when entering the ID in the form. As for the second issue, I will create a ticket if it happens again.
