I brought up a new Windows 2008 R2 dev server and started going through the MAHLER instructions. Is there a way for me to get access to D: to xcopy over the files per the instructions?

I had checked with CBIIT regarding the status of our CDR test server. Robert Chen, who had started to setup the system has been busy with other things in the past three weeks. Here is his reply:

I've been meaning to move forward on the CDR dev tier but it's been pretty crazy lately.

So far, I've brought up the dev server and allocated additional storage. I've started copying files over, but haven't started on the various installs yet.
The DBAs are also trying to get their hands on an additional database server to accommodate the large CDR database.

Short update:
We're moving along with the new CBIIT-Mahler system and we're making good progress with CBIIT's help. We are now able to run the CDR Admin system and access the database. The next steps will include to install XMetaL to connect to the system and to run a publishing job.

Subversion migration:
CBIIT is trying to open their firewall to allow access to our CTB subversion server initially. They will then request an export of our (i.e. CDR and WCM) SVN data to import into their SVN server which will be used from all CBIIT tiers after we've moved our development.

• Currently CBIIT is working on setting up the QA environment.

• The glossifier service has been setup but not yet tested by WCMS

• The GP Mailer setup is ongoing.

• The FTP server setup is in the queue.
