I think this still needs to be done by a programmer, but please let me know if that's not the case. Thank you!
EBMS4 or EBMS3? I'm guessing 4, since in the production system the first couple I checked are already members of those groups. But I'm pretty sure you can assign board members to specific working groups yourself in both EBMS3 and EBMS4.
I assume we're talking about the same groups I'm looking at,
even though the word "Genetics" doesn't appear in the group names,
because the groups I'm looking at are linked to the Genetics
board.
Never mind, I see groups with "Genetics" in the names now.
Ah, it's coming back to me now. The current production system has TWO flavors of groups, and they're managed from different parts of the system. That's not confusing at all! 😛 I recall now that we decided to eliminate that confusion in the rewritten EBMS, and fold the two sets of groups together (which is why I'm seeing "Genetics" in group names on EBMS4). You did have rights to make those changes (and you will in the new system as well), but I went ahead and took care of them.
You can assign a user to groups on the user editing page, so we should be able to close this ticket.
