I am testing on the DEV VM this morning (about 10:30 am) and while switching between XMetal Views (from Tags On View to Plain Text View) I got this error message that displays each time I switched to the plain text view. It seems to happen to not only to summaries. I tried both summaries and person docs and it happened each time. (It doesn't appear to happen on the "regular" DEV when logged in directly from my laptop.) On one hand it appears to be a good warning to users not to do anything in Plain Text View but it seems to prevent the user from going back to Normal or Tags on View as it comes up each time you click on the Tags On View Icon. I had to force XMetal to close it using the Task Manager in order to get rid of it.
Repro steps:
1. While in XMETAL 17 DEV VM
2. Check Out Any summary or Person Doc (Samples CDR0000002202, CDR0000458088)
3. At the lower bottom left of XMetal switch from Tags on View to Plain Text View by clicking on the appropriate tab
4. The attached message should display.
Warning removed.
Verified on QA.
Verified on PROD. Thanks!
