I have made changes to CDR0000761771 on DEV with suggested changes on to the Organization template. Please modify the organization template to reflect these changes.
I'm not exactly sure what you'd like to have modified. Are all of the elements I'm currently seeing in your sample document the elements that should be displayed in the template?
You've asked the following question regarding the comment
field:
"Can you automatically add the username and date attributes of the user
who first creates/opens this template?"
I'll have to talk to Bob about this but I'm not so sure this can be
done. Entering these attributes on the Comment element is done
via a macro the user is calling. If it's possible to automatically run
macros when the document is loaded we may be able to do this.
As an alternative we could remove the Comment element from the
template and have the users create the first comment via the macro. In
that case every comment will have the username included.
Yes. Just include the elements you're currently seeing. If you look at the original/existing template, it has more elements than the one I modified. Basically, I removed a bunch of elements we no longer use.
With regards to the comments, if it is going to be very involving, then never mind. We can easily do it with the macro. However, if it is not involving then you can make the change.
The template has been updated on DEV.
Please verify.
