I reported this issue yesterday and Volker opened a ticket with CBIIT to try try to resolve the issue (https://tracker.nci.nih.gov/browse/WEBTEAM-4861).
We are unable to log into the CDR this morning.
Two people have reported this problem so far in PCIB, too (I am able to log in). Sharon said that response time in the Bastion host was very slow yesterday afternoon and the computer started beeping at her with every keystroke at about 5pm yesterday and then the screen went black and she has been unable to get back in since. Diana has had similar issues this morning.
We are also getting a message about the C:\ drive running out of space on the Bastion host, so I'm not sure if that is related.
Users should be able to log into the bastion host now. Took me a while (about two minutes) to get logged into the bastion server, but once I was in the system appeared to be responsive.
I modified the title as this was an issue with the bastion host and not our CDR server.
We've been able to log in without any problems so far. Thanks!
It looks like the problem was a disk space issue, as Robin and the in-house folks reported.
We're trying now to get CBIIT to expand the size of the disk drive so that this won't happen again. In the meantime, if anyone see the low disk space warnings and/or bastion host freezes please let the developers know so that we can badger CBIIT about it.
Thanks.
Sure, will do. I didn't realize that it had something to do with low disk space. We started seeing the low disk message on Friday and reported it in this issue: OCECDR-3830. We will let you know if we come across any of these problems again. Thank you!
The bastion host had been restarted on Tuesday and everything is working OK since then.
