As discussed in the meeting this afternoon, we need a new scheduled notification email for foreign transfers similar to the existing one (OCECDR-2854).
1. The email will have the following columns (same as the existing email for domestice transfers)
CDR-ID
Primary ID
NCT-ID
Lead Org Name
Transfer Org
PRS Username
Comment
Protocol Status
Grant No
PUP Name
PUP Email
2. TITLE OF EMAIL: Transfer of Ownership from NCI - Non-US
Trials
3. Transfer of Protocol(s) from NCI to Responsible Party - Non-US
Trials
4. BODY OF EMAIL:
Please transfer the following trial(s) to the Responsible Party. When
you have completed the transfers, notify Judy Stringer
(jstringer@icfi.com) with the date they were done. We need to record
this information in our database.
5. Recipients:
CTGOV - register@clinicaltrials.gov
Judy Stringer - jstringer@icfi.com
Ning Yu - nyu@icfi.com
William Osei-Poku - wosei-poku@icfi.com
6. The email should be scheduled to go out nightly if foreign trials have been marked for transfer.

I thought I had already asked this but I don't see the comment.
Could you possibly mark up one or two document on MAHLER that I could use to test with? If possible maybe one domestic trial as well.

I have modified the program CheckCTGovTransfer.py to split the email
report into a US-only and a non-US email submission.
I still need to do a little testing but it's almost done.

The two transfer emails have been created and reviewed (outside of Bugzilla) on MAHLER. I suggest to mark up a few protocols on FRANCK to run a test (in live mode) prior to putting this program in production.

Done. Ready to test on Franck

I ran the test on FRANCK and the emails have been submitted.
The resulting two emails contain a lot of trials. This is due to the
fact that this report never ran before on FRANCK and therefore a
"baseline" was missing. The emails contain every protocol already
transferred including the test trials you had marked up.
You could either find those trials you had marked up or modify a few
more trials and have me run the report again on FRANCK.

I've made the requested changes to include the Canadian trials on the US-trials part of the report.
How do you want to test this change:
a) The same as the last report
b) Mark up a couple more trials on FRANCK or
c) Tell me which trials to "unmark" and run the report for just
those?

I marked up the following on Franck:
526522
531125
536482
581013
582632
I am not sure I understand (c). Are there some trials you need to unmark?

I'm reporting all trials that have not yet reported - meaning every protocol that is not listed in the list of protocols that ran last time. If I know which protocols you'd like to see I can - for testing purposes - just delete that particular protocol from the list and then it would be submitted again as a "new" protocol.
I just ran the report on FRANCK. Please have a look.

It looks good. It is good to go into production.

The following program has been copied to MAHLER and FRANCK.
CheckCTGovTransfer.py - R10265
Before I'm copying this to production I'd like to know how you would
want to handle the initial report/email. I see three options:
1) Since currently there doesn't exist a Non-US report this program
will
report all non-US trials the first time it will
run.
2) We could adjust the distribution list to have the first report mailed
only
to a selective group and then turn on the report to be submitted to
all
email addresses beginning with the second run.
3) Or I could manually seed the non-US report with the trials that
had
already been reported so that only new trials will be picked up.
Please let me know which option you would prefer.

I like this option since we have already received all the non-US transfers through the existing email.

The program has been copied to BACH and the transfer files for the US and NonUS trials have been created.
I will monitor this until next week.

There was an error in my code putting the Canadian trials in the same
bucket as the US trials which caused all trials to be included in the US
trials.
This has been fixed on all three servers.

The email report now appears to be working properly on BACH. We've had the first emails go out and received feedback regarding the transfer dates.
